Everything you need to know before sitting in Mi's chair.
Choose your service and hair here, then add finishing touches, pick a time and pay your deposit in our secure booking checkout.
Mi selects the brand for your chosen collection. Human hair is required for heat styling. Synthetic hair cannot be heat-curled.
Finishing add-ons are selected once in the next step. Their prices and extra time are included before payment.
Book at least 48 hours ahead and no more than 30 days ahead. Exceptions require Mi's approval. Deposits are $25 for styling-only bookings or $50 when Mi provides hair, applied toward the appointment total. Remaining balance is due at the appointment. No full-service prepayment is required.
Client cancellations on the same calendar day the appointment was originally booked receive a deposit refund. Starting the next calendar day, client-initiated cancellations are nonrefundable, subject to applicable law. Online cancellation is available until 12 hours before the appointment; within 12 hours, contact Mi. If Mi cancels, choose a refund or a no-fee reschedule.
One client-requested reschedule per deposit may be approved if requested at least 24 hours before the appointment, with a $5 rescheduling fee. Requests require Mi's approval. A second change requires a new deposit unless Mi makes an exception.
0–9 minutes late: no late fee (the first five minutes are a courtesy). At 10 minutes late: $20 fee. After 10 minutes Mi may cancel, or at her discretion move the appointment to the final available same-day slot, with the $20 late fee plus a $5 rescheduling fee ($25 total). No guaranteed 15-minute grace period.
Hairstyle and add-on changes are permitted only on the original booking calendar day, subject to approval. Arrive washed, completely blow-dried, dry and detangled. Shampoo is not provided. Unprepared clients may be asked to leave and return only if time allows; return is not guaranteed.
Regular appointment start times: Monday–Thursday 9:30 AM–5:30 PM; Friday–Saturday 10:45 AM–6:45 PM. Early Bird Monday–Saturday 7:00–8:45 AM, +$25. Night Owl Monday–Thursday 7:00–9:30 PM, Friday–Saturday 8:00–10:00 PM, +$25. Selected holidays (New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve) +$40; holiday special hours stack to +$65. These extra fees are due with the deposit. Sundays closed. Start times are in 15-minute intervals, with a 15-minute post-client buffer and a 1:00–1:30 PM break. Contact Mi first for early, late or holiday appointments; these require approval and any extra fee is due with the deposit.
Chicago's South Suburbs. The full address and arrival instructions are provided by email after booking and deposit payment. Once you arrive, feel free to have a seat in the waiting area. I'll come get you when I'm ready for your appointment!
